NARRATIVE:

Daniel George, is Assistant Professor in the Humanities Department in the College of Medicine at Penn State University. He earned his Ph.D (2009) and M.Sc (2006) in Medical Anthropology at Oxford University in England, and his B.A. (2004) from The College of Wooster (OH), where he majored in English and graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa. He is co-author of The Myth of Alzheimer's: What You Aren't Being Told About Today's Most Dreaded Diagnosis (St. Martin's Press, 2008), which has been translated into German, French, Italian, and Japanese. Dr. George is an aspiring artist, and plays the guitar, piano, and ukulele.
