    NARRATIVE:

    Dr. Terrones' research focuses on nanostructure synthesis of carbon, graphene and other layered materials, fabrication of nanoscale devices and biocompatible nanocomposites, study of carbon fluidity and metal encapsulated in graphitic sheets, biocompatibility and toxicological effects of doped, functionalized and pure carbon nanotubes and other nanostructures, theoretical studies on novel carbon nanostructures, and characterization and microanalysis of nanostructures.
