NARRATIVE:

The primary research interest of the laboratory is development and application of novel MRI techniques for the study of human neurological diseases and disorders. By applying parametric mapping, DTI, and fMRI techniques, we’re studying the morphological, signal and functional changes of aging, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson's disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc. The ultimate goal is to develop medical imaging tools for early and accurate diagnosis of such and other diseases.
