Dr. Yang is a clinical biostatistician and psychometrician. His collaborative research interests and experiences include Patient-Reported Outcomes(PRO), Scale/Instrument Assessment/Development, Survey/Questionnaire Design, Clinical Trials, Stroke, Cancer, Psychiatry, Neuropsychology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Aging, Nursing, Movement Disorders, Quality of Life, Medical Education, Substance Abuse, Hospital Administration, and Health Disparities. His methodological research focuses on Psychometrics/Measurements and he has developed a new method to detect differential item functioning (DIF).
